How to communicate with Troop 17, Elmhurst:
|
HELP US KEEP THE TRADITION GOING!
|
UNIFORMS -
It is increasingly difficult to get new members and their parents to commit to Scouting in Elmhurst due to the initial investment of uniforms
(over $80 without neckerchief, hat or insignias). Irregulars and seconds are very rare and hard to find these days. If you have any usable BSA
uniform parts, please consider donating them to the Troop.
MEMORABILIA -
If you have memorabilia of Troop 17 let us know so we can explore ways of displaying it on the web site. Pictures and News Articles are the
best, since all we need to do is replicate them. However, we will consider any ideas.

Do not miss this grand get together! Don’t disappoint former friends! Camaraderie and reminiscing past
adventures are always ingredients for good times.
If you missed, the past events do not let it happen again!

Plan to make a day of it! Camp Pouch is a beautiful location and Berlin Lodge overlooks Lake Ohrbach. We
will have an afternoon of outdoor fun, dinner, and close with an indoor campfire at the lodge. The day's
program has been planned but we are always receptive to special request.
Competitive fun activities are planned throughout the day starting at noon right up to dinner time. Spirited
participation is highly encouraged or be an enthusiastic cheerleader as you enjoy the camaraderie.
Actively reminisce your scouting experiences or try the activities for the first time. Lashings, Map and
Compass, Archery, Climbing, and several other fun activities are planned throughout the afternoon.
The Troop 17 museum will be on display throughout the day. It is made up of historical documents,
newspaper clippings, photo gallery and memorabilia of our past activities.
